The kitchen staff was made aware of a false rumor claiming the school dishwasher isn't working properly, that trays are not being sanitized & it is causing illness to be spread. To the contrary, hot water & sanitizer are being used to wash all dishes. The dishwasher has been inspected by the plumbers. (Part 1)
The Herreid School will have a 10:00 AM start tomorrow morning (1/21/25) due to one more morning of an extreme wind chill factor. Stay safe and stay warm. It only takes exposed skin 10-15 minutes to develop frostbite in these wind chill aided temps!
Schedule for tomorrow's doubleheader in Selby: The JV GBB vs. South Border game will begin at 4:00 pm and it will be a rolling schedule following that game in the following order: JV BBB vs. Potter Co, Varsity GBB vs. South Border and then Varsity BBB vs. Potter Co.
This evening's scheduled GBB game in Selby with South Border has been moved to tomorrow in Selby and will be played as part of a doubleheader along with the BBB team and their matchup with Potter County. Also, there are no practices this evening.

The Wolverine BBB game scheduled against McIntosh in Herreid this evening (1/7) has been postponed. This game will be made up on Jan. 14 when the McIntosh GBB team plays in Herreid. The makeup game will only be a JV game and is slated for a 5:00 pm start.

The Herreid School will have a 10:30 AM start today (Nov. 9) due to extremely icy roads in the area. We will allow our bus drivers to have daylight and give the DOT and County time to sand the highways. Please use caution and lower speeds when coming to school today.
Thanksgiving Vacation Reminder:
There will be NO School November 27-29. School will resume on Monday, December 2. Please have a safe Thanksgiving as we remember with gratitude the many things in our lives that we are thankful for!

There will be free babysitting sponsored by the student council during P-T conferences this afternoon and evening. It will be held in the assembly classroom in the remodel area of the Old School (High School). Also there is coffee and cookies in the remodeled hallway in the Old School.
