The Wolverine JH BBB team will practice in Selby today (1/19)at 3:30 pm. The bus will leave the Herreid School at 3:00 pm. Have a stupendous day!
Wolverine BB Update: Selby received a considerable amount of snow in the southern and eastern part of their school district. With the weather and road conditions in the southern half of their district, they are doing an early release. There will be NO Wolverine games or practices after school and this evening (1/18).
GBB Update: The GBB game @ South Border (Ashley) will be made up on Monday, January 22. The JV game will begin at 6:00 pm.
Good luck to the Wolverine BBB team as they travel to Gettysburg this evening for a C, JV & Varsity contest beginning at 5:15 pm!
The Herreid School will have a 10:00 am start tomorrow (Tuesday, January 16). Students will report to their 3rd period classes. It is forecasted to warm up as the day progresses. As of now, after school activities will go on as planned. Have a good evening and stay warm.
Reminder: As the wind is gusting at 44 mph and the wind chill is hovering around -46, you probably don't need a reminder, but just in case someone somehow isn't aware, there will be NO games, NO practices, & No activities today for Herreid School. Lunch menu update: The lunch menu will stay the same for the remainder of the week. The school's "World Famous" rectangular pizza which was to be served today, will now be on the menu for next Monday!!!

There will be NO SCHOOL at Herreid tomorrow (1/15) Temperatures are to remain frigid and the winds are forecasted to gust near 40 mph in the afternoon. There will also be NO activities or extra-curricular events tomorrow. We will also work on our lunchroom furnace tomorrow and our classroom heater issues. Stay safe!
Due to the extreme wind chills this evening, we will be cancelling the staff supper planned for the MC 83 Grill in Mound City. It sounds like the MC 83 Supper Club will not even be open this evening due to the extreme wind chill situation.

The Wolverine HS GBB team will not be practicing today (Friday, January 12) as the team is still fighting an illness which has swept through their team ranks. Once again, NO Wolverine GBB practice today due to team illness and the desire to stem the spread of this illness.
The YTC JH BBB Tourney scheduled for Eureka tomorrow morning (1/13) has been postponed. The athletic directors are searching for a make-up date. Also, there will be NO other Herreid School or Wolverine activities tomorrow (1/13) including sports practices. Thank you and stay warm!
