Herreid will be running a bus on Monday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 16 to bring basketball camp attendees to Selby. On both days, the bus will leave from the north side of the Herreid School @ 8:20 AM with the 1st session attendees, and will leave the Herreid School @ 9:50 AM with the 2nd session attendees. After dropping off the 2nd session attendees, the bus will bring back the 1st session participants at 10:30 AM when their session is completed. The bus will then return to Selby to bring the 2nd session attendees back to Herreid on completion of the 2nd session at 12:30 PM.
The start of the 3rd day of the State Track Meet in Sioux Falls has been delayed by 1 hour. The 1st round of field events will begin at 10:00 AM.

The track meet scheduled for Lemmon today (5/22) has been cancelled.
Herreid School will dismiss for summer vacation at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 20. No lunch will be served and buses will run at that time! 6-12 student checkout will take place on the 20th.
The Region Golf tournament in Pierre tomorrow has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 19, and the MS track meet scheduled for Ipswich on Tuesday has been canceled.

YTC Track Meet Announcement: The YTC Track Meet has been moved from Tuesday, April 28 to Thursday, April 30 in Gettysburg. Field events begin at 12:30 pm.
Good morning! There has been a change for the MS track meet today (4/20). Field events in Ipswich will now begin at 2:00 PM and running events at 3:30 PM.
Track Meet Time Change! Due to a large volume of school entries, the Gettysburg Meet start time which will be held tomorrow (4/10) has been moved up 1 hour. Field events will now start at noon and running events will start at 2:00 pm.
Easter Vacation Reminder: The Herreid Elementary School will dismiss at 12:20 PM today, and grades 6-12 will dismiss at 12:30 PM. Buses will run after the 12:30 dismissal. In observance of Good Friday, there will be no extra-curricular activities tomorrow. There will also be no school on Monday, April 6th. Please have a safe and blessed Easter Vacation.

Running events for today's indoor meet at NSU have been moved up 30 minutes and will now start at 5:00 PM.
Good afternoon - Due to the impending high wind alert and high profile vehicle warning, the Herreid School will dismiss at 3:15 today (3/12). There will be no extra-curricular events after school.
Today's MS BBB game in Herreid will now have a 10:30 AM start. The Wolverines will be playing Timber Lake and there will also be a featured 3 point contest. The Herreid Golf Team is serving BBQ and All-Beef Hot Dogs, as well as a full slate of concession items as a team fundraiser. All are welcome to eat lunch at school to support the golf team.
With today's school cancellation, there will also be NO extracurricular activities in Herreid today and NO Wolverine extracurricular activities. (2/18)
With the NWS Blizzard Warning and NO Travel advisement in the area, the Herreid School will follow suit with the rest of the schools in our area and cancel school for Wednesday, February 18. Once again, NO SCHOOL in Herreid today (2/18).
The Herreid School will have a 10:30 AM start this morning (Wed, Feb 18). The music contest in Mobridge has also been postponed.
