Tuesday, May 5 - No track meet in Eureka. HSA will attend a meet in Pierre on Tuesday, May 12 to replace the Eureka
meet.

Thursday, May 7 - HS Music Concert (7:30) followed by academic awards.
Friday, May 8 - HSA Athletic Awards - 7:00 PM *They have been moved to Herreid due to a conflict with the Selby gymnasium.
Track announcement: There will be NO TRACK PRACTICE today, Friday, May 1. We will be attending the track meet in Eureka tomorrow as planned. Leave time from Herreid is 8:30 AM.
YTC Track Meet Announcement: The YTC Track Meet has been moved from Tuesday, April 28 to Thursday, April 30 in Gettysburg. Field events begin at 12:30 pm.
Good morning! There has been a change for the MS track meet today (4/20). Field events in Ipswich will now begin at 2:00 PM and running events at 3:30 PM.
Track Meet Time Change! Due to a large volume of school entries, the Gettysburg Meet start time which will be held tomorrow (4/10) has been moved up 1 hour. Field events will now start at noon and running events will start at 2:00 pm.
Easter Vacation Reminder: The Herreid Elementary School will dismiss at 12:20 PM today, and grades 6-12 will dismiss at 12:30 PM. Buses will run after the 12:30 dismissal. In observance of Good Friday, there will be no extra-curricular activities tomorrow. There will also be no school on Monday, April 6th. Please have a safe and blessed Easter Vacation.

Running events for today's indoor meet at NSU have been moved up 30 minutes and will now start at 5:00 PM.
Good afternoon - Due to the impending high wind alert and high profile vehicle warning, the Herreid School will dismiss at 3:15 today (3/12). There will be no extra-curricular events after school.
Today's MS BBB game in Herreid will now have a 10:30 AM start. The Wolverines will be playing Timber Lake and there will also be a featured 3 point contest. The Herreid Golf Team is serving BBQ and All-Beef Hot Dogs, as well as a full slate of concession items as a team fundraiser. All are welcome to eat lunch at school to support the golf team.
With today's school cancellation, there will also be NO extracurricular activities in Herreid today and NO Wolverine extracurricular activities. (2/18)
With the NWS Blizzard Warning and NO Travel advisement in the area, the Herreid School will follow suit with the rest of the schools in our area and cancel school for Wednesday, February 18. Once again, NO SCHOOL in Herreid today (2/18).
The Herreid School will have a 10:30 AM start this morning (Wed, Feb 18). The music contest in Mobridge has also been postponed.
The Herreid School will have a 10:00 AM late start on Monday, January 26 due to frigid temperatures.
Tomorrow's (1/23) Wolverine GBB game at Eureka has been postponed until a later date - TBD.

Due to the forecasted winds combined with the loose snow, the Herreid School will NOT be in session today (Wed, Jan. 21). There will also be NO extra-curricular activities in Herreid or Selby today. Once again, NO school in Herreid today.

The Herreid School will dismiss the students after 7th period (2:22 pm) on Thursday, January 22nd. The buses will run at that time. The basketball games with North Central will begin in Herreid at 3:30 pm on that day. The BBB games versus North Central have also been designated as Military/Veteran Appreciation Night.
