Reminder: Herreid School will have a dismissal time of 11:30 am on the last day of school (May 3). Buses will run at that time. Graduation will be held on Saturday, May 4.

The HSA track team will NOT be attending track meets next week in Eureka on Tuesday, or in Timber Lake on Thursday. Instead they will be attending a track meet in Gettysburg on Monday, April 29. The meet begins at noon. Thank you!

Good morning! Julie would like the elementary teachers and the 6-12 teachers with their 1st hour classes to get her a head count of how many students will be eating a sack lunch on Thursday, May 2. Tomorrow, is a student/teacher workday. There is a teacher meeting at 8:00 am. Workday for students will begin at 8:30 am.
Also, the 6-12 Spring Concert start time has been changed to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, April 23 with the academic awards to follow.
Lastly, the HSA track team will not be going to Lemmon this Saturday.

Good Morning! Just a friendly reminder that the Herreid School Board Election will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, April 9) from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Herreid Community Center.
Prom Reminder: The HSA Prom Grand March will take place at 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 6 @ the Herreid School Gymnasium. The public is welcome to attend the Grand March.
Note: The Herreid Fire Department pancake and sausage fundraiser meal will be served from 5:00 - 7:00 on the evening of prom.
(Part 3) We would ask parents of 6-12 students to notify the office if you are giving your child permission to leave class & attend the concert. Students who don't have parental permission will remain in their regular classes. 6-12 students will also be released for early dismissal following the elementary concert.
(Part 2) Following the concert, the teachers will take their students back to their classrooms to gather their backpacks and coats. Students will then be released to their parents or to get on the bus for the early dismissal. Please tell your child's teacher and bus driver if you are taking your child home.
